John, Thank you for forwarding Cullen's drawing. with Cullen's permission I'll find somewhere to post it on TigersUnited. There really is a spacer, and it not only raises the motor, but has the additional purpose of "floating" the heat shield from direct contact. http://www.classictiger.com/techtips/heatshield.gif See, I was wrong once.
