John Panks - the old Rootes organization in the U.S.

Would anybody know what happened to John Panks, director of Rootes, Inc.
(USA)?
Would anybody know if there are any of the old Rootes people (prior to the
Chrysler take over) still in the US?

Needless to say, this is part of my research that I am doing on Rootes
competition
cars in the US....
