Hello Tim and Listers,

I too had a sticky first to second shift on my newly rebuilt David Kee
toploader while using Mobil synthetic. Aside from remembering to fully
depress the clutch petal (a diaphram clutch), David suggested to change to
the Pennzoil 90W140. Except when REALLY getting on the throttle, the sticky
one/two shift was cured.

Good luck Tim,
Henry Vicioso (hunting on the northern Illinois/southern Wisconsin
backroads)!
