Tigers,

There are a number of LAT options that are NOT listed in the Dealer LAT
Catalog, or confidential price list, which is published on
http://www.TigersUnited.com in the "Parts & Services" section, under the
link "Factory LAT Options".

The original letters to the dealer, and the catalog are there, as well
as a list of all known LAT options that were not (including those
reserved, unassigned, or assigned independently by Traction Master). The
"hot-linked" items are from the Dealer Catalog, or are reproductions for
the web of the originals. Yes, some liberty was taken with those LAT-58
"Silver Tiger Stripe Kit" page, but it was deserved! (8-)

Some were created by Richard Wheatley after he parted company with
Chrysler - International Automobiles (Sunbeam Tiger Division), and
worked for Traction Master creating new parts that he named with LAT
numbers ending in "T", like LAT-60T Differential, or LAT-70BT Alloy
Wheels, for example. Since Chrysler was backing out of things like this
(and Rootes altogether soon), the person that ran that department kept
it on after he was "let go". That does not mean those are "authentic",
however, but certainly historic. Of course Traction Master DID make
Rootes International Automobiles authorized LAT products offered in the
Dealer Sales Brochure.

But, that leaves a very long list of LAT options that were real, listed
by Ian Garrad in '65 and '66 homogulation papers, and apparently not
offered to dealers.

TigersUnited.com is seeking photographs (old or new) of these parts that
have no links and are listed on the page described:

http://www.TigersUnited.com/partss/origparts.asp

that anyone may have. Even the "T" series would be helpful to document,
and source annotated.

Please get in contact with "Editor@TigersUnited.com" if you have
information, the parts themselves, or photographs.

Thank you, in advance, if you can contribute to documenting history.

Steve
