Michael,

As I recall, it's called "Liquid Wrench", and comes in a small can with
a screw tip on a plastic nozzle. It is a penetrating oil than I have
relied upon for years to allow bolts, that have seemingly rusted in
place, to be removed. Requires applying the thin fluid to the threaded
joint and allowing it to work it's way down the connection to
dissolve/lubricate the threads. Allow to soak overnight. May have to
apply again if it is deep, or has severe rusting. Do not use too much
torque, as you can break a bolt off in the thread and you are in
unreasonably tough trouble. Apply some more, and soak some more.

As far as getting it on the thread, beneath the rubber stop, that may be
a problem if it is screwed down all the way. I am not sure it is
accessible from underneath, and the liquid is more difficult to
penetrate up hill.

The only way I have found to remove that door stop, between the front of
the door and the body, is to drill out that rivet. Too bad they didn't
use a removable fastener, however you can when you replace it.
