Tigers,
It has been brought to my attention that some of the contributors to
TigersUnited.com have been receiving unsolicited communication from a
"trafficbbs.net" company. This company services the web site community
with business information and offers to improve your "web site" standing
on commercial search engines.
They are apparently using an automated "web crawler" to find any e-mail
address ever put on any web site, hoping to reach someone with an
interest in their service.
There is NO CONNECTION between our web site and this soliciting company,
other than our site does contain e-mail addresses of important
contributors in order for them to be reached by our own community.
This does not appear to be generalized "spam", and I doubt they will be
following up without a reply. There is little we can do to prevent
someone doing this, but it is really using a shotgun to reach small targets.
I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, just delete it.
