Andy,
The original factory instructions for this operation are contained in
"Factory LAT Options" on http://www.TigerUnited.com which recommends
exactly such a procedure. It seems physically possible, although a bit
silly. But that what it takes to sell a camshaft as a bolt-in
replacement. Although it is detailed, I am unaware of anyone who has
actually followed these instructions.
