Hey and Howdy all....

I wish to replace my generator with an alternator. Where/who has the
brackets required and what is the preferred alternator? I have seen some
'one wire, internal regulated' units; but they are all GM. This would be my
preference over a Ford external regulated unit. Are there wiring issues
either way? Someone lead the Old Gunny down the right path. Also, anyone
having the mailing address to Martha Wheat please send it to me off line.
thanks

BTW, I was at the British Car Conclave car show this past weekend in Arvada
Colorado. There were lots'O Tigers there. CATO (my club) was very well
represented with some very outstanding examples. There was even a Tiger that
had A Mustang II IFS installed with power steering and an Alpine with a Ford
V6 conversion. The thing that struck me most was how Tiger/Alpine owners
seem to personalize their car so much more than the other British marques.
(aside from Minis of course)

Cheers
Gunny
