These fold up stands of Wally's and the HD one you made are not for
packing in the car for trips, are they? The bellman at good hotels have
brass carts that can move the top, or two bell man, or you and he, can
get it to your room. Takes up little room up against the wall, vertically.
The reason I suspend mine, with a series of pulleys and a winch, is to
remove the top and store it out of the way of my precious floor space.
Only takes one person.
Mercedes accessories make a really fine one. $$$$$, but Home Depot has
all the parts I needed.
