Unfortunately the US sales division of Brooklands seems to have folded,
but they carried both English and US built reproductions of the Talbot
"bullet" design in 3 1/2" (Junior) and 4" (Senior) sizes.
Interestingly, they reported that the US repro was a better quality than
the import. The "Senior", to me, seemed too large a piece for the scale
of the Sunbeam. But that's a taste call. It will provide a larger image,
but placed correctly, the 3 1/2 (glass size) is fine.

I bought the "Junior", in convex glass for both sides, and mounted them
on the door. Choosing the correct place to put them is no mean chore, as
all sorts of car parts get in the line of view, from the right wiper
blade parked position, the various parts of the windshield posts and
wind wing hardware, etc. There were really only 2 places where a clear,
unobstructed view on the mirror was possible. On the fender, centered
over the front wheel, like my old MG and Jag (and Japanese practice),
and part way down the door, visible behind the wind wing. In this
position the mirrors needed to be rotated farther than the hardware
allowed to get the correct view. It was easily solved by a 1/2 round
groove (rat tail file) in the inner hole of the shell. Allows center
screw to pass to assembling nut. A flat mirror would have not given an
adequate field of view, and getting used to the distance judgment with
convex mirrors is not difficult. If you see it, it's too close.

There is also a spun aluminum version, with flat glass, used in the
period by many racing cars and Sunbeams.

Hope this helps.
