Your correct. The Mk-II had no battery hatch/fuel pump cover. The fuel pump
is located in the trunk in the tire well. It also had a two coil oil cooler,
egg-crate grill, wider grill eyebrow, 289, alternator,wide ratio
transmission,wheel trim, rocker trim, and a host of other changes. Nick
