Disassemble and clean the parts with acetone, reassemble it, and put a drop
of CA glue (Krazy Glue, or Zap, or Hot Stuff, etc.) on each side of the
clamp and shaft joint after you adjust it.
Not that I've done this, but it oughta work, and still be removable with
some force or mild heat.
