Don't forget, Tom, that you live in sunny So Cal where cars, and their
drivers, never rust. Unless you are planning to move to Wisconsin where they
salt the icy roads in winter, I'd just paint what you can get to and wait
until later to get the rest. The area you miss is probably the last place on
the car that would have a rust problem anyway. The subject of transmission
