When in doubt, talk to the the man who owns one.
I'll took it out of it's box, and look at the visible part numbers for
you. There are a lot of them on the main casting, and some of them are
the ones you need.
Here's the "lot":

These are casting, and some numbers/letters may have been read
incorrectly, but I think this is what you need.
It will just be the Salisbury DANA LSD, without the 2.88 gears. Jag
never used a set that low, and yours will fit perfectly (unlike the
American version with different ring gear carrier bolt holes. A Mk II
wide ratio and that rear end make a great combination.
As I recall, it from a 3.8 saloon (or is that a bar?). It will bolt
right in, but be sure the installer uses a real axle spreader to R&R the
gears, and make sure he puts the castellated nut on backwards, when
pulling the hub, to prevent mushrooming the threads. NO crowbars,
although a Churchill Press is an acceptable alternative. Read the
manual. Only 0.006 stretch is allowed to free the carrier without deformation.
Special oil is mandatory, but the really good original stuff was made
with whale oil, and you know how that story. I have heard Mobil 1 GEAR
OIL of 50-90 wt is good. Check all seals and bearings.
You can do me a favor, if you would. There are a set of "buttons" that
run through the LSD and but up against the axle ends. They allow the
axles to move back and forth in the spline and push the opposite end our
as it goes in. Stock item. I didn't get a set (2 pieces) and could use
them. They are about 1 inch (axle size) in diameter by about 2 inches
long, each, with a button end against the axle and a pin running through
the differential to press against the opposite member. Let me know cost.
These LSD's ought to be fairly common there, and bolt right in. Don't
worry about putting in a different American set of gears, they make
:step-down" bolts to accommodate, although the 2.88's and the Mk II
stock Ford "wide ratio" tranny gears are a very good combination.
