CAT 6 Bolt Clutch Bracket

Tigers,

Any personal experience out there with using the CAT aluminum 6 bolt
clutch slave bracket?

I've heard rumors that it isn't stiff enough and bends. I have some
photos of it, and the cast(?) aluminum bracket has some fairly hefty
looking webs from a thick bell housing section to the slave cylinder mount.

If there is bending, has anyone come up with a heliarc weld-on cure?
