Those stainless steel flex fans CF-DIDE 8600 BA sometimes came apart. Some
flex fans were the subject of lawsuits against Ford Motor company. If you are
going to use one, stay away from the front of the engine compartment while
the engine is running and be prepared to replace the hood and shroud should
it fail from fatigue.
