Hello Everyone:
I need to make sure I'm not going to make my Tiger go "ZZZZZZT....POW!!
I've installed a new Holly carb with a dual fuel feed line (the chrome
pipe type). The fuel pipe crosses right over where the coil sits on the
manifold in its stock position, blocking the pipe. I've moved the coil
and bolted it onto the same bolt that holds down the ballast resistor
(that also holds down the engine compartment stiffening brace, making
sure that the two parts do not directly touch, and then installed the
carb. Is there any problem with the ballast resistor and the coil both
being held down by that same bolt?
Also, in messing about, I pulled out the wire that leads from the
electric choke on the carb to.....where??? I think it pulled out of the
wire that also goes to the temperature sender on the manifold, as there
is a wire there that looks like it's it. To be sure, though, is this
where the choke wire goes to? (The other wire coming off the choke is
grounded to the carb body.
Thanks!!!
