Frank,

The Tiger has a rather long lead between the battery and the starter,
and the current drain can be 400 amps.  The more copper, the more energy
actually reaches the starter.

I found a very good source for such material is a welding equipment
shop, which carries bulk copper cables by the foot in the 0 and 00
sizes, which would be great.  Ends are readily available.
