Hi All;
I am a Yokohama fan and am interested in the biggest/stickiest tires that
fit a stock wheelwell. My 205/60R13 008s have worn out (10K miles) and I
need replacements. As most people know, 008s and A509s are NLA; AVS
Intermediates are a good road tire replacement. However the Yoko and Tire
Rack sites now show the A032R in sizes useable on a Tiger; 215/50VR13,
195/60HR14, 205/50VR15 should fit the various wheel sizes. The problem with
the 13" is that the revs/mile are 963 vs 877 with the original stock 70
series tires with 11.5 rolling radius - almost 11% change in gearing, say
150 rpm more at same road speed. Another possibility is the Kumho
VictoRacer V700, a 008 equivalent. I really don't want to buy a new set of
wheels.
Does anyone have experience with the Yoko 032R or the Kumho V700?
