Mark, the seller is in New Zealand, and these guys have a
terrible time with
transactions in US funds. If asked, he would accept the

Kiwi $ from the post office foreign fund check, I'll bet. The

So anyone can write him directly. And, Unlike Yahoo, EBay has
fraud
insurance to pay back a the buyer on a fraudulent sale ($25
deducible). There are lots of
Kiwi Sunbeam clubs listed in http://www.TigersUnited.com
(Clubs and Organizations), and
I'll bet you can get one of them to hand over the post office
$KIWI check when he sees the correct item put into the post,
to assure your getting the item. It can be done, if you do it
right. I do understand their plight with "foreign" funds and
getting $KIWI back out.
