Chris,
1) Lots, from varied sources.
2) That's what veneer is for.
3) It's a lot cheaper than a 1/2 piece of solid burl walnut, and the plywood
doesn't warp in the weather (anyway the good plywood).
4) Unique opportunity for Chris to have the only Tiger with a genuine Koa Wood
dashboard. Koa is indigenous to the Islands, and is really a good looking
piece. I have a very expensive ukulele made from it. (Well, Jay has, now.)
