Bob,
I realize that your mischievous missive was punctuated with a very strong " ;-),
and you were just having fun. I am only quoting you to make my own statement.
The issue of who sells what on e-bay is not one I am going to discuss, as there
are many sides to this issue.
What I do want to discuss is character. I have personally known Jan Harde for
many years. I have purchased Tiger OEM, used, and re-built parts from him. He
has always been a gentleman and an honest person. He has never misrepresented
anything he has sold me, or anybody else that I know of. If I've had a problem
with a purchase, he would make an exchange or refund without a question. He has
offered, and delivered, on many charitable efforts of behalf of our friends,
when
they were in distress. He is a good person, in the true meaning of that word,
and
would not make any misrepresentations, knowledgeably.
I am here, for Jan, to defend his honesty, character, charity, courage in the
face
of debilitating illnesses, and even his thorough knowledge of Tigers, Alpines,
Japanese mini-bikes, and now Mini-Coopers. He is a big man with a big heart,
and a
great sense of humor.
Thanks for the use of the bandwidth, and your name as a vehicle for my personal
support of a fine man.
