Those were the Talbot 303 mirrors that were offered in "Jr." (3 1/2 inches)
and "Sr."
(4 1/2 inches) curved mirror options. Not sure which was offered when, as they
both
had the same LAT number. I am using the 3 1/2" American repro curved on both
sides.
I am told it is better than the British repro.
They may be mounted on the front fender, rather far forward to get past the
windshield
wiper
obstruction on the right side, or on the door (as I have done), but positioned
somewhat
further down than one would presume in order to get part of the car (door
handles) as
well as the next lane, in view. Takes a friend, and a rat-tail file (applied
to the
inner circular rim that the bolt passes through) to get this just right. Works
fine,
and can see both side lanes in the mirrors, with a car reference.
