If you want to match the British grease standards, using modern lubricants on
new
bearings, you're going to have to dilute the new grease with about 24% lard and
11% sawdust. Some road dust would help, for that classic car sound.

Seriously, the modern moly bearing greases are far superior to anything our cars
ever came with. The secret, in any age, is to back them well. A messy job, but
necessary.
