You should have read Tech Note 17, Induction and Carburetors. This excerpt form
Tiger
List postings warns of using stock accelerator cable on 4 barrel installations.
They
are under tension and break. You would have heard that Sunbeam Specialties
carries a
longer version for this application, and the pedal adjustable stops and
throttle WOT
position are coincident. No broken cable.
