Theo,
You are so right, the real purpose is to refine the basics of this page,
like Steve said, an organized archiving of the tech tips, a current calendar
of events, all over the world, as to give the globetrotters a chance to
visit Funbeam events worldwide whilst on vacations.
A current parts exchange, vendors for all over the world, a space for each
club in their region to submit a monthly entry of interest.
Cars for sale, again from all over the world, and I could go on and on.
This forum is great, but you can not go to any searchengine or Netword and
find it, you have to subscribe to get it, and the tech tips have no order to
them, the common voice out there is saying, give me a way to find a "HOW
TO" on a specific topic, like a tach problem, a 5 speed conversion, an amp
meter installation, overheating etc..
Remember this is an idea in the birthing stages, and INPUT is much needed,
it is not intended to be competition against any one or any entity, but
rather a support net for all of them, to know all the clubs out there, to
know their activities, etc., this will bring a larger membership, and also
get some competition going between each of the regional clubs to excel, and
come up with new and exciting stuff, as to attract more HAPPY and satisfied
new members..
INPUT INPUT INPUT!!!
Warm regards,
Jan S-E Harde
