Posi Rear

Hello,
    Is there an easy way to determine if the rear end has been converted
over to posi-
traction, short of leaving one versus two black strips on the asphalt??
Someone once
told me that you can put the car up on stands and manually turn one rear
wheel that
a posi unit will turn the other rear wheel differently than a stock rear
end.  Thanks.
