Actually hoisted the top to the rafters. The protective plastic film
clearly shows the contact line with the rubber seal, indicating pressure
and differential motion. It peels back easy and there is NO marks on the
paint under the plastic film on the contact indentation. IT WORKS!!

I have hesitated to send out the parts ordered until I had assured myself
it actually worked. It does, and I am considering making that offer
again. Think I can lower the cost, if I can get the volume up to buy the
minimum order of the industrial strength material. Mine was one
continuous piece, put I think three pieces would be easier to handle,
install, remove, and store. Two sides from side window to trunk hinge
(mirror images) and one piece between the hinges. A little overlap would
probably be no problem, but they could be trimmed to butt join.
