I'm using Dunlop H rated 185-70's on my LAT-9's and
they have good clearance with the lower part of the
front valence. They haven't rubbed in 10 years and
many miles including several auto-crosses as well
as some hot touring laps at Road America, etc.
The only question is if I should replace them prior to
driving to SUNI. I can get some Dunlup GT Qualifiers
but they are only T-rated. That will probably be good
enough since my car rarely sees the other side of
118 sustained.
Then there is the problem of balancing the LAT-9's.
I guess its back to the old timers garage and his
strobe light on the car balancer. Worked great.
