Just thought I'd let you know that the Shelby Series I assembly facilities
are here in Las Vegas.
Tours are given daily 9:00 - 3:30 P.M. (weekdays only)
There are also Cobras and Shelby Mustangs on display.
The Cobra continuation series which is a NEW 427 Cobra built EXACTLY as in
the mid sixties (all the original components - yes even the Prince of
Darkness Lucas electrics) sells for $850,000.00.
Now the kicker.......you can't drive this car because it doesn't meet EPA
emission standards, the Shelby fellow said they were working on this issue.
The one they had in the showroom was sold.
