I'm trying to get on line at home with my brand new light speed
Gateway machine. I've been over my ISP's setup procedure about 10
times, and we have not been able to connect yet. It dials, they
answer, there's a repetitive pattern of beeps, and it finally times
out with a "can't connect" message.
The ISP is now saying that Gateway has lousy modems, and they've seen
this before. Has anybody else had similar experiences with Gateway?
