The Alpine maling list has a Sunbeam Calendar going. It was supposed to
make it to the Tiger list too. Nobody is sure if a notification was made
over here. I am not running the Calendar project, just ordering one.
Below are a few posts that you may want if you are interested in a Calendar
or contributing. The Calendars are $20 US.
Chris
As of tonight, Dan has 10 orders and 4 pictures with e-mails out to a
few of the folks who ordered asking for a picture. I've also given him
a few pictures from SUNI II, but they aren't very good. I think that
we'll make it, though I promised him 20 orders so I hope a few more
folks come through. Also, he can include notes on the calendar
identifying the dates for car shows, important days in Sunbeam history,
or whatever. SUNI III is July 5-8 correct? Any other dates? How about
SOS? Any other non-Sunbeam Brit car shows. Please let me know, and
I'll forward the dates to Dan. BTW, has anyone confirmed that the post
with the info got to the Tiger list?

I must have
received at least 25 messages from folks saying they were in, and many
agreed to submit photos. I realize that everyone's busy this time of
year, but if we want these in time for Christmas, we need to get our
pictures and orders in. Here's the address again:

As before, could someone relay this info to the Tiger list. Many thanks.

Listers,
About 20 list members have now contacted me expressing an interest in a
calendar. Some have even suggested that they'll buy multiple copies.
If we can really get that many orders, I'm virtually certain we can get
the price down to $20 or less. But probably not much less. I'll check
with my friend at Classic Photo Graphics on the particulars and put up a
detailed post. I think we can probably guarantee everyone who wants one
a picture of some type in the calendar (either by adding months or
including some small pictures). Also, Sunbeam event dates can be
included. One word of caution. We will be drawing these pictures from
a relatively small pool and we're doing a limited print run. I've seen
this guy's work and its very good. But as I said at the beginning, if
you expect the same quality as on the two TEAE calendars from a few
years ago, you will likely be disappointed. What we'll get is a good
looking calendar that includes our cars, which is pretty cool. What we
won't get is the best looking calendar of all time. A couple of folks
have expressed interest only if we get some non-Tiger/Alpine pictures.
Anyone willing to submit some? This may happen after all! Once again,
could someone pass this on to the Tiger list.
