The Jag IRS was the top of the line production design, when
introduced in the '60's. Just read an article (Road &
Track?" comparing the hundreds of parts used to build this
up, and the great difficulty in servicing those great
inboiard brakes, compared to more modern designs. But,
after all, it was a first, so getting it to work ouweighs
optimization, and British labor was cheap.
