I was wrong. I apolgize. While I was swimming during my lunch break, I
realized the error I made. Fluid does not travel linearly in a system.
I'll bet someone will tell me that when I press on the brake pedal, the
pressure is spread throughout the system evenly. So that the parts with
the most surface area will get the most pressure. Thus, since the piston
in the slave cylinder is increased, its surface area is increased, thus it
gets more pressure and moves more - just like Bob's equation says.
I have to admit that my father certainly told me about this some time in
the past. I just forgot. I do not apolgize for being wrong. That's my
own damn fault. I apolgize for the tone of my e-mail to Bob.
