I drove a GT a while ago and it had a removable hardtop but no
retractable soft top. It makes it look like there's enough room
behind the seats for 2 little kids.
I think there were only about 15 of these made, but someone once said
that's because they didn't sell well.

'64 Sunbeam Tiger GT, black, very rare, $13,500. (504) 837-8395.
I called just to check on the car. A dealer called Cruisin' Classics has it.
I asked
if it was the hardtop only version and was told, "Yes, a removable hardtop
only".
I don't have Norm's book here at the office, but I seem to remember that the
GT's
had fixed hardtops. I will bone up on the GT identifiers and VIN's before I
go see
the car tomorrow.
I can't afford to buy the car and am no expert, but I will pass along the
VIN, etc
to Norm for the Registry and will be glad to pass along whatever I can find
out to
anyone else who may be interested. Of course, anyone who is interested
should
feel free to call the dealer direct if they prefer.
All disclaimers apply, since I have no prior knowledge or interest in the
car.
