I'll leave the direct experience with hard plastic suspension bushings to those
that have used them.
I can tell you that the same approach on motor mounts was enough to jar my teeth
out. Every vibration went from the engine to the body
(mine). A good bump could break some teeth, and a rough idle would shake your
brains.
I am sure this is an acceptable method of accurately locating the suspension
system for racing (provided everything is in the correct position), but you
better locate a good source for whoopee cushions.
