Well this aspect of the detailed document would be for the rest of the
Alpine owners who may be beginning their own modifications, have already done
some, and are looking at more performance, or whatever. It simply would be nice
to have some records of things that have been attempted, and their results. Who
knows, someone may have already changed the steering to something other than a
Tiger rack, and I'd like the ability to know what was done that worked, and what
didn't work. I don't want to have to re-invent the wheel every time I need a
part created for my project. I bet other people would like to be able to browse
through the records or search for certain parts or modifications through the
web. (which I have now decided is a better way than via FAX).

Let me see if I have this correct. You don't like this idea of
registration, documentation, history of changes, and a plaque showing the
registration and the major mods for general maintenance needs. Is this correct?

Someone who is a web wizard could do this through an access database which
the web server could search through quickly....This really would not be that
difficult to do.

becoming concerned at the lack of support for this.....8-(

Rich.
