Not to worry.
Norman recently acquired a voice-activated computer system. At last contact,
it was still not operational, since Mr. Miller was still "training'" it to
recognize his distinctive style of speech and communications. But given his
present circumstances, and a number of new words that he has undoubtedly added
to his vocabulary since last weekend, it is anticipated that he will have it
up and running by his bedside within the week.
We should therefore be hearing volumes from him in the very new future. Just
what he might have to say in light of recent developments is hard to predict.
Suffice to say that whatever it is, it will most likely be posted in the
unique cryptic manner for which Mr. Miller is reknowned. Whether or not we
laymen will be able to fully understand it remains to be seen. Curmudgeons
have a language all their own.
I guess now we know why Norman and Sir William were not present at TU XIII
(that's what it says on my plaque), don't we? The shame of it all! What
next?
