Doc, I have a 66 Nova Drag car (I've already asked for forgiveness) that has a brushed aluminum dash. My gauges grounded through the aluminum to the steel dash with no problems. Also, before installing, I sprayed the aluminum with "Dupli-Color Wheel Paint, Clear Finish" that I bought in a rattle can at the local auto parts store. It has protected against scratches, smudges, and oxidation very well. The dash still looks new after 2 years. Good luck, Dallas B38200StillLooking |
