Visit to the west coast

My wife and I will be visiting the San Francisco area from July 27
(landing afternoon of the 27th) to Aug 3.  We are coming from Montreal,
Quebec.
Is there anything happening during this time in Tigerland that we might
be interested in ?
On the 3rd we are flying down to Phoenix until the 8th.
Would love to see some Tigers if possible during our trip.
