... you are changing brake pads, and you don't have to retract the caliper pistons to make room for the new ones. (Perhaps the old ones were a different brand, and thicker when new. But I doubt it. If I hadn't gotten the old ones soaked in brake fluid, they probably would've lasted 100 years in the Garage Queen!) Lawrence R.
