Hey Larry, Hey Steve, I hate to always champion the low-tech solution but why not just RAKE UP THE DAMNED LEAVES?! Oh, not the whole yard--that would give the neighbors false expectations for other gear-heads--but at least GET THE LEAVES OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY!
