Hi: I have had great luck using the foam padding used on of cars with "Landau" (sp?) tops such as the big American land tuna boats. I get the stuff from auto top / upholstery installers and use 3M glue. The stuff is about 1/4" thick, very dense but light and cuts using a pair of scissors. I installed it in place of and exactly as the old tarpaper stuff on the floor and in the doors. etc.. It does not absorb water, is stable, and doesn't deteriorate. Wayne |
