Dave,
You are probably talking about original LAT 70's, if you have the repop
ones, they do tend to leak, from the 2 sets I bought, I had to return 2
rims, and still 2 more have slow leaks...
That is probably what he is talking about, better fix is to paint the inside
of the rim with a rubberized compound.
