Listers,
About "Listers". I remember the Lister Jaguar quite well as a really
fast car raced on our California tracks. There WERE Lister Tigers, of
course. As noted by Willam Carroll (Tiger, An Exceptional Motorcar).
Brian Lister was team manager for Roote's racing effort, and pictures of
the Le Mans coupes 7734 KV, ADU 180B (9), ADU 179B (8) (English license
plates), an a line-up of racing numbers 18, 8, an d 9 at Le Mans pits
are in his book. So, there were at least 3. Norman lists these as
B9499997, -98, and -99. So there are at least three. Don't know how many
"prototypes" or "mules" could be considered if they weren't raced under
Lister regime.
