Larry's (W)right, Grumman made at least two types of Tigers (just like
Sunbeam.) The Navy version that we've been discussing, and a small propellor
driven airplane for general aviation. The small ones are around in numbers
probably comparable to the Sunbeam Tiger (and around the same vintage.)
Probably cost more to buy one. Grumman also made a Cheetah (prop airlplane)
but as far as I know they never made an Alpine airplane.

This could start a whole new collecting craze - collect one of everything
named Tiger. There's the Northrop Tiger, there's the German WW2 Tiger tank,
Tiger Woods, hmmmm.. what else?
