It seems the Cadillac engineers found out that it took very few horses to keep
a 4000lb. car moving. So, they developed the 4,6,8 cyl. V8 (would run on only
4 cylinders at crusing speed). Did they have a mess on their hands. I think
it lasted 1 1/2 years.
I think at the 120 MPH you're discussing that wind resistance is more of a
factor. Isn't it?
