Now it's fixed!

Thanks to all who helped figure out the problem with my clutch master
cylinder.  It was nothing more than the clevis pin in the wrong hole on the
clutch pedal.  Stupid huh?  I do everything else right and blow the last
step.  Thanks especially to our resident rocket scientist, Steve. I guess I
can't refer to you as the designated clown anymore.  BTW Steve, I'm a
geophysicist.  What is with people in hi-tech professions being hung up on
30 year old Anglo technology?
