I've been corresponding with a number of you regarding Tiger suspension and I
failed to point out something which is very important.
When installing any type of rear spring, pay careful attention to the forward,
rear spring mount. The problem is they tend to develop hair line splits over
the course of time, paricularly if the car has been fitted with wider,
stickier tires and driven hard.
The solution is to fabricate an appropriately shaped piece of steel plate and
weld it into the area around the spring mount, beefing up this area which
receives quite a pounding.
