Hydraulic clutch

I've noticed my clutch pedal moves farther toward the floor without
resistance.  I checked the fluid level and sure enough, it is way low.  I
found evidence of fluid leaking from the master cylinder inside the car. 
My question is, do I attempt the repair kit, or do I just replace the
master cylinder?
